MASTICE 2000

Mastic - two-component filler for marble and stone, based on unsaturated polyester resins. It hardens quickly with the addition of the appropriate catalyst. It has excellent adhesive power, and thanks to its fluidity, it easily penetrates the cavities and pores of the stone. Once hardened, it can be worked like stone. The product can be colored using Bellinzoni paste dyes or color oxides. It is resistant to most commonly used chemicals, such as oils, greases, detergents, solvents, etc. Available in both a liquid version for grouting and a solid version for adhesive, in various colors.

How to use:

1. The parts to be glued or the surfaces to be filled must be clean, perfectly dry, and free of dust.
2. Add 2% of the catalyst by weight to the mastic, mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained, and apply with a spatula or suitable tool. In colder weather, the amount of catalyst can be increased to up to 3%.
3. Once hardened, the putty can be sanded and polished after about two hours.
4. When grouting materials with very open pores, a second application of the product is recommended.
