IMPREPOX PREMIUM

An extremely fluid, two-component epoxy system primarily used in the stone industry to restore surfaces and consolidate porous, cracked, and cracked natural stone, concrete, and cement products, as well as to reinforce cracked natural stone slabs. IMPREPOX1000 is a thermosetting, ultra-low-viscosity product based on epoxy resin and a specific hardener, which crosslinks at room temperature. It is used to produce tough, chemically resistant, high-solids, ultra-transparent, and VOC-free protective coatings. Particularly suitable for sealing micro-cracks and capillaries, IMPREPOX1000 offers hardness and flexibility, improved chemical and solvent resistance, exceptional adhesion, and a high gloss after polishing. Its improved formula makes it even more transparent and non-yellowing. It is the ideal product for filling and sealing imperfections on very pale marble and granite. It can be used both locally on cracks and for complete smoothing of floors or slabs.

How to use:

The areas to be glued or filled must be clean, perfectly dry, and free of dust. The catalysis ratio is 4:1: four parts of component "A" + one part of component "B". Mix the two components in a jar, pour the contents onto the area to be treated, and fill the material using a notched trowel, allowing the product to be completely absorbed by the material. Dispense small amounts of product from the jars to avoid a rapid reaction and the risk of "mass effect" (very rapid hardening of the entire quantity of resin). For a good result, 150/250 grams per single catalysis is sufficient. The prepared mixture has a shelf life (20-30 minutes at 20°C), which will be longer at lower ambient temperatures and shorter at higher temperatures. Sanding and/or polishing can be done after 24 hours at room temperature (20°C), or the slab can be preheated to higher temperatures to speed up the curing time.
