FK2 5L - crystallizer for marble

FK2 is a ready-to-use liquid crystallizer with low acidity for crystallization of marble or limestone surfaces.

Crystallization is a special treatment that restores the luster of lime-based surfaces when they have lost some of their original luster, usually due to wear or heavy traffic.

FK2 - restores the deep shine of surfaces without causing yellowing or graying and does not give the effect of "orange peel".

FK2 - quick and easy application. Increases the scratch resistance of the surface without causing differences or defects due to overlapping.

FK2 is an effective solution for the care of a polished surface, as it can restore the gloss of the surface.

Gives the coating properties that increase resistance to scratches, therefore, reduces the number of necessary maintenance operations.

Continuous use of FK2 as maintenance prevents deep damage to the surface, significantly slowing down the need for mechanical polishing.

 EQUIPMENT

A single-disc machine with a capacity of at least 1.5 liters. manual rotary brush. Metal pad or cotton wool.

STAGES OF APPLICATION

Surface preparation and cleaning:

1. Clean the surface thoroughly, removing all dust and dirt. To prevent the surface from getting wet, we recommend dry cleaning with a suitable tool.

2. Never use FK2 on wet or damp surfaces

3. We recommend applying the product in stages, covering surfaces of approximately 1m2 at a time.

4. Never apply FK2 to excessively heated or overheated surfaces.

5. Any adjacent surfaces not to be treated shall be protected.

6. Before starting crystallization, we recommend pouring FK2 into a sprayer or a bottle with an applicator. which will significantly speed up the application process.

Application

7. Shake the bottle thoroughly and spray a small amount of the product directly on the treated area.

 As a rule, 3-4 sprays of the product are enough for crystallization of a surface area of 1 m2

8. After applying the product, start polishing the surface with a machine equipped with a metal pad for crystallizing steel wool and adjusted to a speed of 150 to 200 rpm. Pass through a single-disc machine, using concentric movements to evenly distribute the product throughout processed section.

9. Continue polishing the same area until the product is completely dry.

10. Proceed to the next section, repeating the crystallization process as described above.

11. After processing all areas, remove the remains of steel wool from the surface using a vacuum cleaner.

In the case of surfaces with heavy wear or subject to a high degree of movement, up to 3 consecutive applications of the product may be required.

Drying time

12. After the product has completely dried, no further waiting is necessary.

13. After thorough removal of steel wool residues, the floor can be opened for use.

It boosts surface resistance to scratching without causing any differences or blemishes from overlapping and unlike many other crystallization products available on the market, it does not leave a slippery finish on the surface to which it is applied.
